The prophet Isaiah, in verse 61:11 (NLT), reminds us that the Lord’s righteousness “will be like a garden in early spring.” We peek into a thriving corner of God’s garden this week as the children and youth in our church family will lead us in a special Mother’s Day combined service at 10:00 am. Our youngest hearts will sing and dance, perform in junior bell choirs, read scripture, and share their love and light through original video, poetry, and prayers. With God’s Love and Light, and the nurturing of mothers and others, we will see, as Isaiah 61:11 promises, new life “springing up everywhere.”
