Sewickley United Methodist Church is not a building, but a people who have gathered to do God’s work in the world. We share our talents, our time, and our monetary donations to minister to each other, help those in need, and spread God’s word. Our ministries serve the Lord locally, nationally, and globally.
Two Bible studies meet every Tuesday at the church, and short-term, small group studies will meet in members’ homes.
Around Mother’s Day, the men of the church celebrate all women and their contributions to society, the church and God’s Kingdom.
We provide an entertaining, educational, and religious video or activity for kids ages 4 to 12 during our traditional service.
Every December, the Simpson Room is filled with the aroma of thousands of home-baked cookies during this fundraiser and fellowship event.
Through the Fellowship of the Cross, our youth discover their potential to serve Jesus, His church, and His people.
Since 2006, we’ve been scaring the bejeebers out of the Sewickley area. Our basement is haunted by more than just the Holy Ghost.
Every Sunday evening during Lent, we gather for dinner and fun, family-oriented programs.
Summer is the perfect time to gather with our neighbors at AME Zion for food, fellowship, and games.
For over a decade, we’ve been making annual trips to serve an impoverished area in Southeastern Kentucky.
We’ve been hosting our annual turkey dinner for over 70 years. It’s a feast rich in history and calories.
Join us on a voyage To Mars and Beyond, August 5th to 9th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
