Youth and Adult Sunday School
SUMC's Sunday School meets from 9:30 am to 10:45 am every Sunday. The program starts in September and runs until Pentecost Sunday in June. There are refreshments available every morning, supplied and set-up by volunteers who sign up on a weekly basis.
Sunday School begins with a brief opening in the sanctuary at 9:30, then the large groups break into Adult and Youth classes and Children's Sunday School.
Adult Classes
The adult class, organized by Donna Bell, features a variety of topics throughout the year lead by volunteers.
Youth Sunday School
The Youth Sunday School Class is for those currently enrolled in 9th-12th grades. They meet in the Youth Room in the basement, where comfy couches are available, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
The youth are also engaged in various outreach projects for the church, such as the Pumpkin Patch and haunted house fundraisers in October.
If you would like to volunteer, the church is always looking for energetic individuals who would like to spend time working on projects with the youth of our church.
