Missions and Outreach
Missions work is the responsibility of everyone in the congregation - - serving and bringing others to Christ. Our mission efforts can be divided into two categories:
1. Mission Share
Our annual financial commitment to support the connectional church - - the programs of our Western Pennsylvania Conference and the activities of the United Methodist Church throughout the world; and
2. Mission Projects
The different activities we undertake during the year to share our blessings with those less fortunate.
Our mission projects are varied in scope and broad in participation. Some are general appeals for support from throughout the congregation. Others are activities sponsored by different groups, such as United Methodist Women, United Methodist Men, and our children and youth groups.
Opportunities for missions work are numerous, diverse, and always open for new participation. For more information, contact Mission Co-Chairs Van and Karen Nickell.
