Shoulder to Shoulder Pittsburgh, in partnership with the village of San Jose, uses the gifts of Pittsburgh area professionals, students, and churches to provide essential medical care, health, education, and community resources for the most needy. Since 2000, 16 medical brigades have traveled to San Jose.
Sewickley United Methodist Church, in partnership with Shoulder to Shoulder, sent it's first team of 10 people in 2007. We focus on ministry and the spiritual health of the community as well as helping with community projects.
