I wanted to invite everyone to come to the Contemporary Worship service this Sunday, Jan 23rd to hear our special guest, Jeff Painter. Jeff was our guest for the worship team retreat last May and I can say that he helped to make our retreat one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I am so excited that he is able to join us and I hope you will be able to come and hear his inspirational testimony in song. We will be collecting a love offering for Jeff during the service in addition to our regular offering. Heritage International Sunday is here again! It will be celebrated on Sunday May 22, 2011 so bring out those outfits and cook those dishes.
This year, I want to run immigration stories about your families and their landing in the USA. It would be nice to hear of their experiences, joys, concerns and how they overcame any difficulties. These will be published in the newsletter and I will make a poster board for the luncheon.
Please send pictures, letters and stories to me. I can pick them up at church, you can mail them to me or you can send via email. If you are sending pictures etc, please put your name on them so that I can return them back to you.
