SUMC Announcements

Dear SUMC Family:

You are kindly invited to join us for our First Annual Benefit Concert for Bethany House on Friday, May 21 at 7pm. Our own contemporary service band, Leap of Faith, will be hosting the concert and joined by the Vineyard Fellowship Church praise band. A freewill offering will be taken during the concert and a reception will follow immediately afterwards in the Simpson Room.

As you know, our church is a strong supporter of the ministry provided by Bethany House Academy to the children and families of Northview Heights in Pittsburgh. These children regularly deal with the effects of poverty, drug abuse and violence within their own neighborhoods and the efforts of Executive Director Keith Murphy and the staff and volunteers of Bethany House can make the difference in whether these children survive or thrive.
