SUMC Announcements

The UMW meeting will be held on Sunday, February 28 at 4 p.m. We are meeting prior to the Lenten dinner that we are preparing. Members are asked to bring desserts (cookies, brownies, cake or pie) for the dinner.

In January we held our pledge service, “What Gift Shall I Bring”. If you were not able to attend, please see Pat Grossarth, treasurer, for a pledge card. Our unit’s budget for 2010 is $4,405. Of that amount, $2,500 is our Pledge to Mission.

You are part of a one million member organization that raises 25 million dollars a year to support mission projects for women, children and youth around the world. This year the Pittsburgh District has pledged $54,000 and the Western PA conference has pledged $250,000.
