Thanks to everyone who donated items for the Spring Rummage Sale. Thanks also to all of those who helped to set up, sell and clean-up. Our profit was over $900. Items for the September sale can be placed in the potato room in the basement.

The Red Bird Mission Team welcomes donations of bottled water and cash to cover gasoline expenses for their trip in August. Please contact Kristine Swaney for details.

Some tips for Going Green and living simply from United Methodist Women and Response magazine. Purchase locally grown and locally produced foods - easy to do with our local farmer’s markets. Bring your own cloth bags when shopping and shop only as needed. Wash clothes in cold water and use a clothesline or drying rack.

Remember to recycle. Bulletins from the Sunday service can be left in the back of the sanctuary. We also recycle office paper. There is a box under the secretary’s desk, a box in the choir room and a beautiful recycling tower in the Simpson room.
