SUMC Announcements

The January meeting of UMW will be held in the Simpson Room on Sunday the 11th following the worship service. We will have a light lunch followed by our business meeting and program. We will vote on the budget and program for 2009. Please note that this date is a change from our regular meeting on the third Monday of the month.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas table in December. Your purchases helped us meet our mission obligations for 2008.

Articles are due for the January Minutes Tuesday, December 23rd. Since that is Christmas week, please try to email them to me then. Put in the Subject box “Minutes”

Experience the life of Radio Entertainment on Saturday, January 17th at 7:00 p.m. with the original production of “The Big Broadcast of ’43”. This simulated live radio show will take you back to July 1943. In this nostalgic, patriotic revue, you can expect velvet-throated vocalists, fun loving comedians, news updates and campy commercials. See Lou Ann Scott for tickets that will be $10.00 each. This includes the show and dessert reception that follows.

Costumes are available, or bring your own.
