We United Methodists believe that the Bible is the "inspired" word of God. The Bible is God's story, the story of humanity's sinfulness and brokenness and God's love and faithfulness. From Genesis to Revelation, we discover the means to wholeness and salvation.
Each Wednesday in the church library, at 9:30 am and 7:00 pm, we gather to read, study and discuss God's Word. You do not have to be a biblical scholar to be a vital participant to the group. We are all on a journey. All are welcomed and accepted as you are and wherever you are on your journey. The pastor facilitates the gatherings, but the learning experience is a result of the sharing of thoughts and ideas of all who are in attendance. It is in this sharing where we find support, guidance, strength, comfort and encouragement.
Weekly Bible study is held on Wednesdays at 9:30 am, and again at 7:00 pm, in the church library. The library can be accessed via the church parking lot, located behind the church, where you can enter the library directly.
What does it mean to be a United Methodist? A 7 week study beginning Wednesday, April 11, 2012, will help us discover United Methodist beliefs, Methodist church history, and our Wesleyan heritage. Please contact the church office if you are interested in attending. All are welcome.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
When I feel afraid,
And think I've lost my way,
Still, you're there right beside me.
Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
I will not forget
Your love for me and yet,
My heart forever is wandering.
Jesus is my guide,
And hold me to your side,
And I will love you to the end.
Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near,
Please be near me to the end.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And alight unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
And a light unto my path.
You're the light unto my path.
